Code: NZKF

New Zealand's most famous vintage steam train is The Kingston Flyer! Based in Kingston (40 minute drive south of Queenstown) on the southern shores of Lake Wakatipu.

With a history spanning over 125 years, the Kingston Flyer departed daily from the Kingston Station and traveled a 14km stretch of track to Fairlight, the Kingston line consisted of two AB Pacific Class steam locomotives (built in New Zealand), and seven steam-heated wooden vintage carriages dating back to 1898.

Unfortunately due to financial constraints the train no longer operates.
